This messaging app was a product of a task we were given in the CareerFoundry UI Design course. We were tasked with creating a messenger app that would allow us to practice reusing common elements and dip our toes into animation as well. The rest was open ended, which left me to once again give myself to my true love: dark mode. I wanted a pop of color so went with a gentle purple and blue color scheme. There is also a subtle open envelope effect with the top and bottom bars, because I had to get a little fancy, you know?
